From 22 to 24 October 2024 in Wolfsburg (Germany), the 12th International Suppliers' Fair (IZB), the largest event of the global automotive industry, will focus on the key theme "Empowering Partnerships". "We want to strengthen the exchange between manufacturers and supplier companies and emphasise the need for cooperation. Both aspects are key factors in developing innovative solutions and bringing them to market at a faster pace," explains Thomas Krause, spokesman for Wolfsburg AG, the trade fair organiser.
As a business and communication platform, IZB fosters partnerships and provides topical issues in the automotive industry. IZB 2022 welcomed 940 exhibitors from 37 countries. The organisation points out that "the automotive industry is currently changing at an unprecedented speed, and the mobility of the future is electric, climate-neutral and interconnected. New competitors and rapidly changing customer needs demand an accelerated pace of innovation and the adaptation of models and cost structures. With the key theme "Empowering Partnerships", the International Suppliers' Fair (IZB) 2024 focuses on the essential factors of Competitiveness, Sustainability and Acceleration.
Competitiveness, Sustainability and Acceleration emphasise the importance of cooperation, a solid foundation of trust and an open exchange between OEMs and suppliers to promote and support innovation, efficiency gains and long-term success. Strong partnerships are absolutely essential to achieve a sustainable and competitive future for the automotive industry, IZB argues: "At the same time, the design and use of materials in line with the circular economy is also becoming increasingly important. Moreover, a coherent rethinking of resource-conserving energy and material flows can only be achieved on a close and coordinated level playing field," adds Thomas Krause.
According to Krause, this approach forms the basis for reliable and fast production processes, rapid market entry and thus the transformation of industry. The trade fair offers industry experts the opportunity for networking, strategic discussions and future-oriented contacts.
Interested companies and visitors are invited to participate in IZB 2024. Potential exhibitors can find out more about the exhibition areas still available at
